How to stay afloat in a wind-driven storm?
We’ve all heard stories about how, after being hit by a strong gust of wind, your home could go down the drains.
We all know it can happen.
But how do you stop that?
And how do wind turbines actually go up in flames?
The Irish Times is reporting that the owner of a wind turbine in Co Donegal has told the Irish Times that the turbines are not actually going up in fire, but are just “shooting flames”.
The article goes on to say that the owners’ response to the problem was “lame”.
It goes on: “The owners’ reply to the wind-storm issue is that it’s a story of a bunch of people who didn’t really understand how the system works.
It is just a story about how they don’t understand how it works.”
It is important to note that this is not the first time the owner has faced questions about the turbine.
Earlier this year, a windstorm knocked out a power line on a farm in County Donegal, and the wind farm owner later said that the damage caused by the storm was caused by “inaccurate measurements”.
